The American Girl Podcast Network is a series of American Girl-focused podcasts. The network was launched by American Girl in 2022.
Overview[]
On May 24, 2022, American Girl announced three podcast series. The network launched with Ten-Minute Mysteries; American Girl Fan Club launched in July 2022, and the The Smart Girls Podcast launched in August 2022. The network has ad-free shows covering a mixture of all-new content and older stories and data.
Episodes are available on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, iHeart, Google Play, and Amazon. The Smart Girls Podcast is also available in video format on the American Girl Podcast Network YouTube channel.
Two more non-fiction podcasts were announced to launch later; however they were not launched, and no new episodes have aired on any of the shows since 2022.

AG Ten-Minute Mysteries[]

American Girl Ten-Minute Mysteries is a scripted podcast series retelling the Historical Character Mysteries in ten-minute segments, with host Maggie Lawson. It is advertised for listeners ages 7-14. The episode descriptions include several "reader questions" for each episode with critical thinking questions. The series launched May 24, 2022.
Season One (the only season) is a retelling of The Light in the Cellar starring Molly McIntire.

American Girl Fan Club[]

American Girl Fan Club is a podcast of hosted by two well-known fans of American Girl, Sydney Paulson (on Instagram @5hensandacockatiel) and Kristen Washington (on Instagram @ag_4allages), of behind the scenes information, trivia, and facts about the creation and history of American Girl along with guest interviews and insider information on new lines and products. It is advertised as appropriate for listeners of all ages. The series launched July 13, 2022. Episodes are approximately thirty minutes long.
Episodes include discussion of "American Girl moments" each week in the hosts' daily lives. After the interviews, a fan-submitted voicemail is played.

The Smart Girls Podcast[]

The Smart Girls Podcast is based on information from the Smart Girl's Guides series to help children in the tween range to navigate things such as emotions, mental health, and friendships and answer questions, and will be hosted by actress Shay Rudolph (Netflix's The Baby-Sitters' Club, The Present) and cultural expert/network producer Jess Weiner. It is advertised as appropriate for children ages 7-14 to listen with a parent or guardian. The series launched Aug. 17.
