In the section on Penny's release:
"Penny was originally released as the American Girl Horse in 1998 and considered a generic horse that, while resembling Penny, was marketed for both Felicity and the American Girl of Today line. She was exclusively considered part of Felicity's Collection and is not seen with modern dolls (though still called the American Girl Horse and not Penny.)"
This confuses me, because obviously the second sentence is referencing a time period after 1998 and Penny's being marketed as an American Girl Today accessory. It seems like it's trying to say there was a time when Penny was still dubbed a generic "Horse" while being pictured solely in Felicity's Collection, which I seem to remember. However, without a date being given, the second sentence is just bewildering.
I have a ton of the old catalogues (I'm a hoarder), so I'm sure I can eventally dig out when this shift occurred. If anyone has the chance to tweak it before me, though, I'm not going to complain. :)
Take Care.
