Hello! I noticed this page is lacking a lot of detail compared to the other World by Us girls, but the article is still locked from being edited. I didn't notice any news or announcements stating why the World by Us articles are locked, but I imagine it was to prevent speculative writing prior to the official release. Since the books have been out publicly for a few months by now, do you think we would be able to reopen these articles for public editing? - For the first several months after new lines and characters are released, all high traffic pages are protected for a set amount of time. This is to prevent bad faith edits. In the past, before this policy was implemented, early items being released would draw rumors, leaks, hearsay, and inaccurate data, as well as poorly done edits in a bid to be the first to add data, regardless of how properly done the data was implemented. Thus, this has been the policy for some time.
- The page will automatically unlock once the full amount of time has passed. At that time, edits will need to be made according to the site's Article Creation, Editing Guidelines, and Style Guide or they will be summarily removed.
