The Talent Show Dress (also known as Samantha's Talent Show Dress) was introduced to Samantha's Collection as a Short Story outfit in 2003 and retired in 2008(?). It is associated with the short story Samantha's Special Talent. Retail cost was $24.

Dusty rose "dupioni silk" dress; long-sleeved, high necked, drop waist. Wide yoke with black and cream ruffle trim; white decorative pleating at center placket and sides of cream lace. Decorative gathering below yoke center placket. Elastic gathering at dropped waist. Cream and black ribbon sash from elastic gathering to back of to back placket, with two black rosettes at front of sash. Two front and two back pleats. Cream lace trim on cuffs. Velcros at wrists and up back.
