Samantha's Story Collection II.

Story Collections were book compilations of a Historical Character's Central Series prior to BeForever remarketing.

The first Story Collection release came in 2001. These were hardback books with either an illustrated cover jacket with gold raised text or limited edition translucent vellum dust jacket that showed the character portrait underneath, both with text free character portraits underneath. The back summarized the series with another character portrait. The books have gilded-edge pages and a gold ribbon bookmark. Miniature paper dolls were included in some versions.[1] The first endpage has an integrated book plate allowing purchasers to label themselves as owners of the book.

The second Story Collection release came in 2009. These were hardcover volumes with die-cut windows on the cover that showed images of internal illustrations along the side, with a large character image on the left front and metallic flourishes on the cut-out side. Julie and Rebecca's story collections were only available in this style.

In both sets of story collections, only the Looking Back section from the sixth book in the central series (or "Changes For America" section) is included, if any at all.

Cécile and Marie-Grace did not have a Story Collection for their Central Series, nor did Caroline. The launch of BeForever reformatted the books into two-book volumes (which was retained in the 2019 change to non-Beforever abridged versions), so no other characters have received (or need) Story Collections.

All of these books are now retired.
