Something Navy was a clothing brand launched in 2020. The brand was first established in 2009 as a fashion blog by blogger Arielle Charnas, later followed by a Nordstrom brand before making its own line. The company focused on mid-range basics for women with select items sized for children.
In 2023 after three years of operation, the brand closed all stores and laid off staff, with the brand shutting down fully by August 2023.
In Relation to American Girl[]
In June 2023, American Girl released a collaboration line with Something Navy in the style of their Modern Mix and Match Sets, consisting of two outfit sets with additional shoes, coat, dress and accessories. A version of the Blooms of Blue Dress was also made for Bitty Baby. Both have matching Dress Like Your Doll components for children. For Winter/Holiday 2023 a second set of mix and match clothing was released, as well as holiday dresses for Bitty Baby and WellieWishers.
Doll's clothes come with unique cardboard hangers and/or packaging that display the Something Navy brand name.
