School Desks are furniture that are part of each Historical Character's School Collection. These were originally shown on the covers of the school books before their redesign. Not every desk was used in a specific school setting (for example, while Josefina does have a "school desk", it is more accurately a desk used by her entire family). Many of these have been retired.
Kaya does not have a school desk as her culture did not have the same type of formal schooling as the other Historical Characters. Since Julie's School Collection focused mainly on basketball, she does not have a desk; neither did Rebecca or the majority of characters released after her. Cécile Rey's Parlor Desk and Seat was not marketed as a school desk.
As of the retirement of Maryellen's desk in 2023, all of these are retired.
