Saige's Picnic Set.

Saige's Picnic Set is part of Saige's Collection and, like her, was retired at the end of 2013. Retail cost was $38.

Woven Box

Tan plastic "woven" box. Removable lid. Intended for storing the tamales.

Tamales

Two pretend tamales (spicy meat pasties wrapped in corn husks). Fused together.

Picnic Basket

Red woven picnic basket. Brown trim around upper and lower edges. Brown curving handle with molded texture simulating wrapping.

Guacamole

Pretend "stone" dish filled with bright yellow-green "guacamole". Dish is round with shaped "feet".

Tortilla Chips

Bag of pretend tortilla chips. Dark red stripe across top of off-white bag; white text reading "TORTILLA CHIPS" in stripe. Green and off-white zigzag trim below plastic window for displaying chips (which are molded from a single block of plastic).

Water Bottle

Clear pretend water bottle. Light blue cap and label; label has round white logo on front.

Grapes

Pretend bunch of purple grapes.

Speckled Bowl

Turquoise bowl with faint speckled print. Sized to fit the grapes.

Blanket

Stiff twill-weave picnic blanket with Southwestern designs (stripes, diamonds, and zigzags) in white, dark gray, and orange on red. Dark gray edge trim.

Trivia

• Saige's Picnic Set was briefly sold as the Picnic Set for the My American Girl line in 2014 for a price of $28. It was also available as a Purchase with Purchase following Saige's retirement, buying $50 of items at an American Girl Place allowed purchase for $18.
