The Pow-Wow Dress of Today I

The Pow-Wow Dress of Today I (also known as Kaya's Dance Dress of Today) was introduced to Kaya's Collection in 2005 and retired in 2011. Retail cost was $32.


Cream suede dress. Yellow inset panel at front. Orange and red starburst embroidery on top panel. Shell bead at lower center of inset panel, with white fringe. Orange cord trim at front, sides, and down shoulders. Cream fringe trim; three strings of brown beads threaded on front fringe. Velcros up the back.


Embroidered sash on red ribbon belt. Red and orange embroidered hexagons (yellow centers) on white background on sash. Embroidery is intended to simulate beadwork. Velcros around waist.


White, gold, and brown beaded choker. Gold chain. A girl-sized matching choker is also included.


Cream high suede moccasins. Cream laces. Red and brown embroidery on top of foot.

Head Piece

Long hexagonal head piece on clear comb; embroidered hexagon in front and suede on back. Two feathers (white and brown) at top. Hexagon has red and embroidered hexagon (yellow center) on white background; embroidery is intended to simulate beadwork.
