The Plaid Suitcase (also known as Molly's Plaid Suitcase) was introduced to Molly's Collection in 1988 and retired in 2007. It is associated with the book Changes for Molly. Retail cost was $18.

Green, black and red plaid suitcase. Green vinyl handle and trim on sides. Silver clasp. Red satin lining inside. Pocket on inside of lid.
Dress Like Your Doll[]
Plaid Book Bag and Umbrella.
A variation of the suitcase was sold as the Plaid Book Bag for children, also associated with Molly's School Bag and Supplies. Retail cost was $28. Bag measures 10" x 14" and has straps so it can be carried as a shoulder bag or backpack. Black Pleasant Company logo on front. The bag came with a ruler, pencil, and ID card as well as slots inside to hold them.
This was phased out around 2000.

- Although the suitcase was associated with Changes for Molly, it was also advertised with Molly's Route 66 Outfit. A set of Molly's Route 66 Adventure, the outfit, the Route 66 Accessories, and the suitcase was available for $70.
