The Paint Set (also known as the Rainbow Paint Set) is an American Girl of Today accessory released in 1999 and retired in 2001. It was paired with the Easel and Canvas. Retail cost was $14.
Color Wheel
Glossy cardstock artist color wheel. Shows twelve colors and shades achieved by blending each color with red, yellow, blue, white, and black.
Palette
White plastic painter's palette.
Paintbrushes
Two green handled paint brushes: one flat, one round. Gold trim; synthetic bristles.
Acrylic Paint Tubes
Five white authentic acrylic paint tubes: White, Black, Red, Yellow and Blue. Tubes decorated with painter's knives and paintbrush, magenta and green swirls. Color of paint marked on top of tube.
Storage Tin
Black hinged metal storage tin for paints. Covers says "American Girl Paint Set" with paint splatters in text, paint splatters, palette with paint, and brushes. Internal white plastic tray for paints.
