Mama Cat and Kitten, 2008 release.

The Mama Cat and Kitten (also known as Kirsten's Cat and Kitten) were introduced to Kirsten's Collection in 1987, modified in 2000, and modified once again in 2008 before Kirsten's archival in 2009. They are associated with the book Happy Birthday, Kirsten! Retail cost was $20, decreased to $16, and later increased to $18.

Plastic base cat with black-grey rabbit fur covering and tail. Green bead eyes. Black nose. Black felt ears. Pink felt tongue. White translucent plastic whiskers. Mother cat measures 4" tall, 3.5" wide, and 1.5" deep.

Kitten[]

Plastic base kitten with black-grey rabbit fur covering and tail. Green bead eyes. Black nose. Black felt ears. Pink felt tongue. White translucent plastic whiskers. The kitten's whiskers are long pieces that go through an opening in the plastic base; they can get pushed back and forth from either side of the nose. Kitten is posed holding a pink circle as a ball of a yarn. Kitten measures 2.5" high, 2" wide, and 1" deep.

Gray cat. The 2000 release had white plastic whiskers and green safety eyes. The 2008 rerelease had embroidered green eyes, pink nose and mouth, and black whiskers. Pink inner ears. Standing with tail erect; the tail originally was wired.

Kitten[]
