White molded turntable with blue moving center dial. Two white activation buttons integrated into turntable at slight angles from each other.

When the included records are clipped into place on the turntable turned on record player, the player is on or turned on, and the tonearm is moved over the record, the record spins clockwise, depressing the buttons on the player and causing a sixty-second long opening clip of one of three licensed songs to play:

  • Saturday in the Park by Chicago (inner button alone)
  • Love's Theme by Barry White's Love Unlimited Orchestra (outer button alone)
  • Shining Star by Earth, Wind and Fire (both buttons)

The sound clip fades at the end and player turns itself off once completed, stopping the record rotation. The clip can also be stopped by moving the tonearm back into the dock during playback. Clips start from the beginning each time the tonearm is activated, and a stopped record must be restarted again by rotating the tonearm away and then back onto the record again.
