The Joss Mold was the tenth face mold created for the American Girl line; it was introduced in 2020.
Characteristics
The Joss face mold blends various aspects of the Josefina Mold and the Classic Mold; most noticeable is the narrow nose of the Classic Mold with the rounded cheeks and larger eyes of the Josefina Mold. The chin comes to a slightly sharper point than either other mold and the lips are fuller than the Classic, but not as full as the Josefina mold.
Both ears have a larger opening to the ear canal; this to accommodate a hearing aid, though the hearing aids are designed to fit in the right ear. The ears have the same level of detail as the Sonali Mold.
This ties with the Asian Mold, Marie-Grace Mold, and Nanea Mold for the least amount of use, with use on a single doll.
