- While promotional images show multiple dolls wearing the headband along with Joss (example: American Girl's Instagram), in the books Joss is the only one who wears one, as it functions to help her keep her hearing aid in place during practices and performances.
- The shoes are a miniature version of Nfinity's Slide sandals; children's sized ones are not sold by American Girl, however.
