Isabel and Nicki's Computer and Desk Set.
Isabel and Nicki's Computer and Desk Set was introduced to Isabel and Nicki's Collections in 2023. Retail cost was $145 and increased to $158.
Desk[]
White wooden desk. Desk measures 12.6"wide x 9" high x 7.75" deep. It weighs 3 pounds.
Chair[]
Yellow plastic chair with silver legs. Yellow pegs on bottoms of legs.
Computer[]
Silver plastic computer monitor attached to a CPU base. Black accents, black CD-ROM and floppy disk drives, and black buttons. CDs and floppy disks can be inserted in drives, and a red light illuminates when the CD is inserted. A silver keyboard is attached, and a black cord and silver mouse extend from it. Monitor itself can swivel. A black cord extends from the monitor in the back and can be plugged into the CPU below.
When screens are inserted, the computer's backlight will come on and music will play. There are three functional buttons on the monitor: a large button in the center and one to the left and the right. The left and the right buttons play noises when pressed and are volume buttons. The keyboard has two buttons on the keys, which will also play different noises when screens are inserted. These include dialogue from Isabel and Nicki and noises from the game itself; there are multiple options for each slide.
Computer is 5” wide x 6.5” high x 7.5” deep. Uses three AA batteries.
Screen Inserts[]
Four transparent screen inserts with tabs at the top so they can be pulled out of the computer. One has an Internet browser featuring an "American Girl Online" homepage with an email inbox and a chat box. Another shows a screen from Felicity's parlor in the American Girls Dress Designer game. The next screen shows a 1990s American Girl website page with options for games and activities for kids. The final screen is a music mixing program that shows Isabel and Nicki's CD albums and the songs they put on them.
Each screen has a different cutout shape on the bottom that tells the computer which sounds to play for it.
Mouse Pad[]
Black mouse pad with American Girl of Today logo figure in rainbow colors.
Stickers[]
Three sticker sheets. One has functional glow-in-the-dark star stickers. The other two sheets reflect Isabel and Nicki's interests. Isabel's sheet has stickers for butterflies, flowers, and tennis, as well as an American Girl of Today logo. Nicki's sheet has stickers for skating and music as well as a stylized American Girl of Today logo.
Floppy Disks[]
Two floppy disks that can be inserted into the computer. One is blue and the other is pink. Each has a painted silver edge and a white label. The blue disk's label has a graphic of an alien and the words "Top Secret" on it. The pink disk's label has a graphic of a tennis racket and tennis ball and the words "Tennis Pictures."
CDs[]
Two silver CDs. Each has a written description on it. One is "Isabel Mix" with graphics of flowers around the words. It includes the songs "Jump for It," "Starshine," and "Butterfly Queen." The other CD is "Nicki Mix" with graphics of stars and paper clips. It includes the songs "Brand New World," "No Sunshine," and "Rebel Dreams." Each CD fits into a case, and the CDs can also be inserted into the computer.
CD Cases[]
Two translucent CD cases; one is pink and the other is green. CD cases can fit into the CD towers.
CD Towers[]
Two CD towers with black CD holders and a white top. The towers have slots to hold four CD cases each.
Phone[]
Blue plastic cordless phone that can sit in charging station. Black antenna and black buttons.
Phone Base Station[]
Matching blue charging station for phone that phone can sit in. "American Girl" is molded in cursive font on the front.
Mug[]
Green plastic mug shaped like an alien head. Mug has black eyes.
Marker[]
Pink marker that has a white graphic on the side with the word "Highlighter." Cap is attached on the end.
Picture Frame[]
Square yellow picture frame with molded stars on the corners. A photo of Isabel and Nicki is inside.
Rug[]
Light purple and white ying-yang rug. This is a Christmas gift from Isabel and Nicki's parents to represent balance between the twins.
Trivia[]
- Although this set is advertised with Isabel and Nicki's room accessories, the computer desk is actually in the family's office in the book. The rug is in the twins' room.
