Holiday Collections are Historical Character sub-collections that consist of tie-ins to the Holiday Books for the character. The components were generally consistent from Felicity Merriman through Julie Albright.
The term "holiday" is being used because although the books were subtitled A Christmas Story, not all the stories focused on Christmas; several covered other holidays more prominently than Christmas, and Kaya and Rebecca are not even nominally Christian. Because of cultural limitations, Kaya'aton'my's collection is much smaller and not centered on a specific holiday.
Catalogs called the corresponding books "holiday stories", and in 2005 sold a collection of selected holiday stories for Historical Characters.
