Molly's Hula Costume.
The Halloween Hula Costume (also known as Molly's Hula Costume) was introduced to Molly's Collection in 1989; it was modified in 2004 and retired in 2012. The outfit is featured in Meet Molly and is now on the cover of the books instead of Molly's meet outfit. Retail cost was $34.
Sweater
Red long sleeved knit sweater.
"Grass" Skirt
Grass skirt that fastens around Molly's waist. Originally made of crepe paper, it was later changed to a plastic "grass" skirt.
Halloween Hula Costume I
Lei
Yellow flower lei. Originally made of gathered paper flowers; now made of small cloth flowers strung together.
Wristlet
Yellow flower wristlet. Originally a few large blooms made of gathered paper flowers; now made of small cloth flowers strung together like the lei.
Hair Flower
Hair ornament. Originally one gathered paper flower; now two small cloth flowers.
Mask
Black eye mask with black elastic band.
Treat Bag
Brown paper bag with jack-o'-lantern and Molly's name.
Trivia
- In the book Meet Molly, Molly never wore a mask with her costume.
