First Day Outfit

The First Day Outfit is the second meet outfit in the American Girl of Today line. It replaced the Mix and Match Outfit in 1996 and was replaced by the Red Vinyl Jumper Outfit in 1998.

Outfit[]

The outfit was available for purchase separately for $20, excluding the shoes.

Jacket[]

Yellow fleece jacket. Purple cuffs and pink collar. Teal pocket on the left side of the jacket. Four functional black buttons. American Girl Today logo on left cuff. Unlined. Pinked at edges.

Shirt[]

Striped mock-turtleneck shirt. Short sleeves. Stripes of hot pink, yellow, purple, teal, and black. Velcros up the back.

Leggings[]

Black velour leggings.

Socks[]

Teal ankle socks.

Shoes[]

Black velvet flats. Ribbon top edge binding.

These are the same style that came with the Mix and Match Outfit.

Underpants[]

Magenta underpants with serged edges and white elastic waistband and white bow. Exactly the same as those that came with the Mix and Match Outfit.

Ponytail Holder[]

Striped elastic ponytail holder. Same material print as shirt.

Ten mini Grin Pins.

These accessories were available for purchase separately for $20 or bundled with the doll for a discounted price.

Hat[]

Black velvet bucket hat. Front pinned up with with attached yellow and pink fleece bow. Center of bow has three sewn beads of blue, purple, and pink.

Magazine[]

Miniature magazine of the January/February 1996 edition of American Girl Magazine.

Purse[]

Black vinyl wallet purse. Thin shoulder strap. Snap closure. Purple lining. Internal pockets for bills, library card, and lunch tickets. Resembles purse from Mix and Match Accessories.

Necklace[]

Silver ball-chain necklace with AGoT girl logo pendant.

Dollars[]

3 miniature $1 notes. Carried from Mix and Match Accessories.

Library Card[]
