Emily's Flutophone Accessories.

Emily's Flutophone Accessories were introduced to Emily's Collection in 2007 and retired in 2008. They are paired with Emily's Recital Outfit and associated with the book Brave Emily. Retail cost was $20.

Flutophone[]

Off white plastic flutophone. Slim, slightly curved body with flared bell end. Seven finger holes along front; additional hole and molded thumb rest at back. Green translucent trim around mouthpiece, in band below mouthpiece, and above bell. Flutophone is non-functional.

Instruction Book[]

Music Stand[]

Silver metal music stand. Multiple molded rivets. Shelf to place music booklet. Three foot base with black plastic tips. Adjustable height at center pole.

Trivia[]

  • The flutophone and packaging are based on an authentic flutophone design, the Thompson flutophone, by Trophy Music Co.
  • The instruction book is based on an authentic music education book by Trophy Music Co. The original cover image was a black and white photo. The cover and version was originally published in 1948, which is later than the setting of Molly's and Emily's books.
