Caroline's Spencer and Hat was introduced to Caroline's Collection in 2012 and retired in 2015 with Caroline's archival. It is associated with the book Caroline's Secret Message and paired with Caroline's Travel Outfit. Retail cost was $24.

Coral "woolen" Spencer jacket (short jacket with high waistline). Dark red "woolen" flat collar. Sleeves are in the "leg-o'-mutton" or "Juliet" style consisting of a short upper puff joined to a long fitted cuff reaching to the wrist. Sleeve sections are joined with a band of dark red "woolen" material. Three decorative tabs (one larger tab flanked by two smaller tabs) of coral "woolen" material on top of sleeve puffs at shoulders; these are trimmed with dark red "woolen" piping. Three non-functional round buttons covered in dark red "woolen" fabric conceal front Velcro closure.
Hat[]
Stiff dark red bonnet with flat crown and flaring brim. Coral satin ribbon trim along edge of brim. Wide satin ribbon decorating join of crown and brim; ribbon is striped in coral, light coral, and dark red. Large bow of striped ribbon on right side of bonnet with V-cut ends. Bonnet ties under chin with a pair of cream satin ribbon ties.
