The American Girl Air Lines set.
The American Girl Air Lines is a Truly Me accessory set released in 2021 and retired in 2024. Retail cost was $275. It is part of the World Traveler Collection.
Plane Set[]
Light and dark purple plane wall section with a front section that faces seats. Two white overhead compartments with gold accents. Wall has a white panel with a flip-down hook and white and gold buttons as well as a wall light. Buttons are functional and turn on the light and TV. Two other buttons play announcements from the captain and the flight attendant. White drink compartment with a light inside and with speaker underneath; compartment can hold three sodas. The side of the compartment has a place that the remote can clip into. Wall has one window with a shade that opens and closes; two panels can be put in window to show views outside plane.
A section in front of the chair has a flip-down padded purple footrest. A gold-framed TV screen is on top that can have four different transparent screens put in and out with a table underneath. Side of section has American Girl Air Lines gold logo on side. Opposite side has a flight attendant station with a gold and white table piece and a gold-framed faux screen with an airplane seat map and other buttons for flight attendants. Pink, purple, and gold wall phone with white phone piece that comes off wall.
Back side of plane shows outer wall of plane. Light purple plastic with additional purple graphics. White window. Battery compartment and on/off switch are on wing piece; they are covered by a plastic wing piece that has a flap to reveal compartment and has the American Girl Air Lines logo.
Uses three AA batteries.
Chair[]
Separate items included in the American Girl Air Lines set.
Purple plastic plane seat with a padded cushion. Seat fabric is light purple with silver metallic pieces throughout. Purple ribbon seat belt with decorative gold plastic clip; belt actually closes with velcro. Bottom part of seat pulls out for seat to recline. A white and gold side table pulls out of side of seat and can flip up for use. Gold plastic trim around back of seat as well as a gold star outline. A back part of the seat pulls out as a tray for storage.

Window Screen[]
One reversible window screen to put in window; one shows a blue sky with clouds and the other shows a city skyline at night. Tab at top to pull it out of window.
TV Screens[]
Four transparent screens for TV. Each has a tab on top to pull it in and out of the TV, and each activates different sounds when the TV button is pressed. One has an image with a game screen and Coconut in a dog park. Another has an entertainment menu with a purple background and buttons for home, map, music, games, movies, TV, shopping, and news. Screen also shows a music screen with a pop music album, and a section above the screen shows a green graphic indicating that riders should put on their seat belts. A third screen shows a photo of dolls on a street in Paris with the Eiffel Tower in the background. The last screen shows a flight map with a plane going over land and the water, and it also has a green graphic indicating that riders should put on their seat belts.

Remote for plane TV screen. Black face with blue and pink faux buttons; silver sides. Center faux screen panel that has icons with different choices: a plane, a film clapboard, a music note, a game controller, a TV monitor, and a cloud.
